Imidacloprid is an insecticide that effectively protects trees, shrubs, and turfgrass from many insect pests; including Emerald Ash borer, Bronze Birch borer, Leaf beetles, Aphids & Adelgids and more (see Label for full list). It is applied foliar and sub-soil (basal drench or soil injection). It provides systemic insect control in trees as it moves through the vascular system and remains in the tree for approximately one (1) year, protecting it from insect pests. It is the least invasive and most cost effective way to control insect problems such as EAB.

Imidacloprid 75 WSP is a wettable soluble powder that dissolves quickly and easily in water, it is sold in 1.6 ounce dissolvable packets –in groups of 4 pkts, 16 pkts, and in a mini-drum of 88 pkgs. Our Imidacloprid is the generic version of Merit, it is a General Use Pesticide, and is classified by EPA as “moderately toxic.”
